• On Sunday, March 19, we went horseback-riding from a stable in Corrales down to the Rio Grande river (a rather "pleasant" ride, wasn't it, Blanche? 'g').

  One of the murals along Central Avenue (the famous highway U.S. Route 66).   And another...
  A "mosaic" artwork in front of an art-supply store called WCI. Next door was a Flamenco-dance studio (we kidded Nana later that she should start taking Flamenco lessons... *g*).
  A little piece of New York in Albuquerque: the New York Pizza Department, a pizza-parlor on Central Ave.

• After the lunch-meeting we went on an "expedition" to locate the Wildfire studios in Rio Rancho. After much searching (mostly for Donna & Gene B., who were taking up the rear and fell behind a ways) we located the building - in fact we unbeknowingly parked in front of it for a spell waiting for them to catch up!...

• To cap off such a memorable weekend, we drove up to the Sandia Tram-Way entrance for a bird's-eye view of Albuquerque at night. We were met by a local TV-reporter and his camera-crew doing a "live" report on the crazy weather that evening. John, Blanche and Sandra were interviewed. The spot was aired on the 10:00 News!
